The campus library shall provide, for all academic programmes, varied, authoritative and up-to-date information resources, which facilitate teaching, learning, research and community service for all categories of its users. The information resources are relevant, adequate in quality and quantity. As indicated in the table below.
The campus library is adopting and maintains Information Communication Technologies in information management and its operations. We are guided by ICT policy to establishing library ICT infrastructure and systems that integrate with the university-wide ICT environment. Appropriate levels of internet bandwidth to facilitate downloads and uploads has been provided. The campus library’s information resources are organized, for efficient access and retrieval, using internationally recognized conventions and standards. The resources are accessed through a comprehensive catalogue of the library holdings.
The campus library staffs have endeavored to establish, promote and sustain a quality service that facilitates teaching, learning and research. These services include: Reference and information services; Information resources; Circulation services; Current awareness services; Inter Library services; Information Literacy services; Reprographic services; Knowledge management services; Preservation services; and Archiving services.
