Ms Ruth Jepchirchir Songok
Ms Ruth Songok holds a Master of Science in Environmental Education and a Bachelor of Education Science (Biology and Chemistry) degree from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology. She is currently finalizing her doctorate degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Kisii University. Her areas of academic and research interest are in the fields of: Environmental education, Science education, climate change awareness and Curriculum and instruction. Her major scholarly contribution includes the role of effective forest management for sustainable peace building among communities in Mau forest, Kenya. Currently she is the Exams and Timetable coordinator in the department of Science and Mathematics Education (MMUST). The courses she is currently teaching are: Environmental Education, Biology Education and Contemporary issues in Science, society and technology.
