Ms Lydia Nderitu
Ms Nderitu is a Senior Library Assistant working in Acquisition, Technical Services Section. She is pursuing a Masters Degree in Library and Information Science in Kenyatta University. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science. Her area of academic and research interest is in the field lnformation materials Acquisition, processing and organization. Her core competencies include a demonstrated ability to perform clerical, computerized, and manual library tasks while continually exploring new concepts to improve library efficiency and enhance patron experiences. She also assists maintain the accuracy and integrity of bibliographic and authority records in the online catalogue, performs original and copy cataloguing when needed. She is a member of Kenya Library Association (KLA) professional body.
