Dr. Edward Masibayi Namusasi
Dr. Masibayi is a Senior Lecturer at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST). He holds a PhD in Disaster Preparedness and Engineering Management from MMUST, Master’s Degree in Water Resources Engineering from Dar es Salaam University, Tanzania and a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from University of Nairobi.He has been involved in the teaching and successful supervision of both undergraduate and postgraduate students, and published various articles in refereed journals, conference proceedings and attended academic symposiums. Dr.Edward Masibayi has developed market driven programmes and has been a consultant in several local and international projects in his capacity as a hydrologist and GIS expert.
He has a passion to serve the community and is a member of various school boards of management. He served as the Chairman , Department of Disaster Preparedness and Engineering Management in the School of Disaster Management and Humanitarian Assistance (SDMHA).
