Mr. Simon Ochieng Ogana
Mr. Ogana is currently a tutorial fellow at the Department of Paramedical Sciences in the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedical Sciences, Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology. He is a registered nurse/midwife and a paramedic trainer with 15 years of experience in delivery of paramedical concepts and skills to EMS providers. He is a holder of Master of Public Health and Disease Control (Kenyatta University) and currently pursuing a PhD in Trauma and Emergency. Mr. Ogana was formerly a lecturer at Defence Forces College of Health Sciences. His extensive experiences include tactical and emergency casualty care, coordination and training of paramedics- Kenya Defence Forces. He has been involved in research work on trauma and emergency, currently working on a national survey on prehospital care in Kenya with partners from Michigan University.
