Muhatia Cynthia, an undergraduate student pursuing Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in the Department of Biological Sciences (School of Natural Sciences-SONAS-MMUST) on Industrial Attachment at the Golden Africa Kenya Limited (GAKL), Machakos County, under the mentorship of the Chemists Dan Oyugi and   Phoebe Mutono, and Willy Aganyanya (MMUST) and Nicholas Kitungulu (MMUST), in June 2021.

I also learnt the various oil analysis such as Free Fatty Acid (FFA%), Iodine Value (IV), colour analysis, Slip Melting Point (SMP), Matter Volatility and Moisture ( MIV%), Peroxide Value (PV), Cold Test and for soap analysis are Free Causti Alkali(FCA), Moisture and Volatile Matter(MIV), Matter Insoluble in Alcohol (MIA), Matter Insoluble in Water (MIW), Crack Test, Lather/Foam Test, Grit Test, Determination of Chloride, Total Fatty Matter (TFM), Silicate Concentration, Caustic Concentration their Specific Gravity and Baume,”
