Majdi Sultan, an undergraduate student pursuing Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science in the Department of Biological Sciences (School of Natural Sciences-MMUST) on Industrial Attachment at the Ministry of Water Services, Environment and Mineral Resources (MWEMR) in Turkana County under the mentorship of the Environmental Expert Kevin Ojiem and Abednego Lokiru in July 2021.

“During my attachment at MWEMR in Lodwar, I successfully learnt the processes of receiving and reviewing Environmental Impact Assessment Reports from firms. I also got to learn the EIA review process, computer operation, filig of documents, environmental inspections, environmental monitoring, comprehensive report drafting and presentation skills”.
