John Macharia Kuria, an undergraduate student pursuing Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in the Department of Biological Sciences (School of Natural Sciences-MMUST) on Industrial Attachment at the Dawa Life Sciences Pharmaceutical Company (formerly Medisel Ltd in Thika Town, Kiambu County) under the mentorship of the Quality Control Experts, Lilian Munyao, Jactone Oluoch, Joseph Kioko and Vincent Michira and Dr. Dennis M.W. Ochieno (MMUST), in June 2021.

“Dawa Life Sciences is a company that has numerous modern technologies and equipment necessary for industrial training of MMUST students who are ready and willing to learn and acquire relevant skills for career growth” Kuria said. Vincent Michira, a MMUST Alumnus from the Department of Pure & Applied Chemistry who is employed as a Quality Control Analyst at Dawa Life Sciences said “Here the Chemistry I learnt in MMUST from Dr. Francis Orata and others is very applicable with all the technical instrumentations”.
