Evelyne Wanjiru, an undergraduate student pursuing Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Management in the Department of Biological Sciences (School of Natural Sciences-MMUST) on Industrial Attachment at the County Government of Kirinyaga under the leadership of H.E. Governor Anne Mumbi Waiguru, EGH OGW, being mentored by the Deputy Director Climate Change Eng. Francis Kaara and Dr. Dennis M.W. Ochieno (MMUST), in June 2021.I was involve in reviewing environmental impact assessment reports, revising policies and regulations regarding environmental management, field studies on solid waste management, tree nurseries establishment and management and some office work. It was an informative and educative experience that prepared me for the market world.
