Joseph Kariuki, Mary Wambui, Thomas Atandi, Duncan Kmathi, Winnie Wamaitha, undergraduate students pursuing Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, Biology and Natural Resource Management in the Department of Biological Sciences, School of Natural Sciences, Masinde Muliro University of Science & Technology, on Industrial Attachment at the Kenya Marine and Fisheries Research Institute (KEMFRI) in Naivasha, Nakuru County, under the mentorship of the Research Officer George Tofiki, in June 2021.

“During our attachment, learning new techniques has ben a wonderful experience. We have carried out water sampling and water quality determination in Lake Naivasha, techniques in nutrients analysis, fisheries and fish biology, aquarium management and microscopy in identifictation of zooplankton and phytoplankton”.
