Kevine Onyango Othina, an undergraduate student pursuing Bachelor of Science Applied Statistics With IT in the Department of Mathematics (School of Natural Sciences-MMUST) on Industrial Attachment at the County Government of Migori (Department of Internal Audit) under the mentorship of the Audit Expert Director Erick Jalango and Dr. Lawi Gerorge (MMUST), from 17th May, /2021 to 9th July, 2021.
“During my attachment in Migori County, I successfully learnt the processes of verifying accounting transactions with documentary evidence. I also got to learn simple departmental record analysis. Working with this team has made me gain the accounting experience and gain an understanding of the Auditing process. Above all my being at the Internal Audit department gave me an exemplary oversight of the practical world.''
