Justice Juma Magere, an undergraduate student pursuing Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with IT in the Department of Mathematics (School of Natural Sciences-MMUST) on Industrial Attachment at the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (Kisumu County) under the mentorship of Mr Kennedy Dede(firm supervisor), Dr. Michael Ojiema and Dr Joyce Kagendo (MMUST), from May 2021 to July 2021.

“During my attachment at KNBS -Kisumu, I learnt a lot and improved my data handling skills, from data collection through numerous field surveys being in weekly, monthly and quarterly terms. Data cleaning, data entry mostly in excel after developing the templates for each different surveys and data analysis and visualization through SPSS and R softwares. I learnt how to do internal firm audit, gained mature personality and better work ethics.''
