Benard Mwathi Musau, an undergraduate student pursuing Bachelor of Science under the Department of Biological Sciences (School of Natural Sciences-MMUST) on Industrial Attachment at Sultan Hamud Sub-County Hospital, Makueni County, under the mentorship of the Medical Laboratory Technologist, Department of Haematology and Serology, Mr. Charles Mutiso in June 2021. 

“During my attachment, I gained a lot of skills especially in the field of Immunology and Serology. I was able to analyze Complete Blood Count using the Haematology Analyzer Machine; conduct CD4 counts for HIV infected patients as well as a Du ( 'weak D') testing for Rhesus Factor confirmation especially for pregnant mothers,” he said.
