Pricila Atieno, an undergraduate student pursuing Bachelor of Science in Biology in the Department of Biological Science (School of Natural science- MMUST) on Industrial Attachment at the department of Agriculture Livestock Fisheries and Agribusiness-Busia under the mentorship of the biology expert  Mr .Richard Kimani, Prof.John Muoma  and Dr. Mario Kollenburg, in June 2021.

“'During my attachment at Bunyala subcounty fisheries office and Wakhungu hatchery Busia county, l successfully learnt the process of catfish propagation, how fingerlings are reared and the fish sampling methods. l also learnt how the liner ponds are constructed, installation of the herper nets in those liners and how fish pairing for reproduction is done"
