Majdi Sultan, an undergraduate student pursuing Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science in the Department of Biological Sciences (School of Natural Sciences-MMUST) on Industrial Attachment at the Ministry of Water services, Environment and Mineral Resources (MWEMR (Turkana County) under the mentorship of the Environmental Expert Kevin Ojiem and Abednego Lokiru (LODWAR), in May-July 2021.

“During my attachment in MWEMR-LODWAR, I successfully learnt the processes of receiving and reviewing Environmental Impact Assessment Reports from firms. I also got to learn about EIA review process, Computer operation, Filing of documents, Environmental inspections, Environmental monitoring, Comprehensive report drafting and Presentation skills.
