Vivian Achieng Olima an undergraduate student pursuing Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science in the Department of Biological Sciences (School of Natural Sciences-MMUST) on Industrial Attachment at Send a cow Kenya, Migori County, under the mentorship of the Environment Management Officer, Ms. Judith otieno, Project Coordinator, Ms. Sylvia Owino, Dr. Philip Ogutu (MMUST) and Dr. Patrick Okoth (MMUST), in May, 2021.

“During my attachment at Send a Cow Kenya, I successfully learnt how to relate well with community members. I worked with communities by passing knowledge on agricultural techniques and environmental management practices that would promote sustainable livelihood for local farmers and their families to reduce poverty levels. These initiatives are of great benefit to these communities as they increase their income by increasing their agricultural production,”
