Saida Chepkorir, is an undergraduate student pursuing Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science in the Department of Biological Sciences (School of Natural Sciences-MMUST) on Industrial Attachment at the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA-KERICHO County) under the mentorship of the Environmental Expert Francis Kamau and Mr. Ngurwe Jared (MMUST), in June 2021.

“During my attachment in NEMA-Kericho, I successfully learnt the processes of receiving and reviewing Environmental Impact Assessment, environmental audits and summary project reports. I also learnt on how to write Environmental impact assessment report and environmental audit reports. Additionally, I learnt on how to generate licenses and the requirements for acquisition of Summary Project Report (SPR) and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) licenses. I can also help clients in the application of waste transport licenses."
