Ann Nyambura Kimotho, an undergraduate student pursuing Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science in the Department of Biological Sciences (School of Natural Sciences-MMUST) on Industrial Attachment at the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA), Mombasa County, under the mentorship of the Environmental Officer, Calvince Rashid, Dr. Denis Omaiyo (MMUST) and Dr. Christine Onyango (MMUST), in June 2021.

“During my attachment at the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA), I successfully learnt the processes of receiving and reviewing Environmental Impact Assessment Reports from firms. I also learnt the generation of licenses and the requirements for acquisition of Summary Project Report (SPR) and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) licenses,”
