Libby Muthoni Waweru, an undergraduate student pursuing a Diploma in Applied Biology in the Department of Biological Sciences (School of Natural Sciences-MMUST) on Industrial Attachment at the National Museums of Kenya (NMK) under the mentorship of the Curatoral assistant Kenneth Gachucha, Dr. Phillip Ogutu (MMUST) and Dr. Patrick Okoth (MMUST), in June 2021.

“During my attachment at the National Museums of Kenya, I successfully learnt about fish and how to maintain the life of fish in the aquarium both fresh water and marine fish. I also studied snakes at the Snake Park as well as their proper handling,”
