Mission
To generate, preserve and disseminate knowledge by integrating research, extension and linkages into quality programmes covering a wide variety of disciplines while engaging in innovative research, training, teaching, and consultancy.
Objectives
- To establish framework for quality research and extension in the 2013/2014 academic year;
- To develop and sustain research publication culture by university staff by 5% in the next one year;
- To design a policy and mechanism for research funds mobilization and budgeting by university staff in the 2013/2014 academic year;
- To develop a quality extension program in the 2013/2014 academic year;
- To increase links with local and international partner institutions by at least 5% in 2013/2014 academic year.
