MOU between MMUST and The African Centre Of Excellence For Innovative Teaching And Learning Mathematics And Science (Aceitlms), University Of Rwanda- College Of Education (Ur-Ce)

Brief description

This MOU focuses on the following areas of collaboration:

  • To promote effective teaching and learning of mathematics and science with use of innovative didactics complemented by effective integration of ICT.
  • To collaborate on teaching, research and postgraduate supervision through staff exchange program.
  • To collaborate on the development and review of quality mathematics and science programmes at secondary, undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • To collaborate on the organization of joint trainings, workshop, research conferences and outreach activities related to innovation in teaching and learning mathematics and science.
  • To collaborate in writing proposals for joint research projects related to improving mathematics and science education.
  • To Participate in evidence based policy dialogue forums on teaching and learning of mathematics and science with government, private sector, civil society and other members of the public on STEM education in Rwanda, Kenya and the whole East African Region
