NTV’s News Anchor and Editor, Mr. Dann Mwangi addressing students pursuing Journalism and Mass Communication.

During the three days of the Kakamega County Edition, MMUST students, especially those pursuing Journalism and Mass Communication had the opportunity to interact with the industry players and their favorite TV journalists from NTV. These included News Anchor, Frida Mwaka (NTV Jioni na Frida Mwaka) who is also the Co- anchor with Lofty Matambo.

In addition, a team of journalists from NTV led by Mr. Mwangi held a Career Talk with the students pursuing Journalism and Mass Communication in a bid to prepare them for the job market. The talk was geared towards sensitizing the students on the requirements of the job market at an early stage. The team took the students through the role of journalists in the newsroom, skills required, and the news production process. They encouraged the students to start practicing their careers as early as now in order to excel in their careers.
