MMUST's School of Engineering and Built Environment Commences Workshop to Enhance Students’ Practical Skills.

Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, through the School of Engineering and Built Environment (SEBE), has today, 10th May, 2022, began preparations for an eight (8) weeks intensive practical workshop for second year engineering students. This has been made possible through the various facilities including, the civil engineering department laboratories as well as the Electrical and Mechanical engineering laboratories.

The workshop is aimed at providing the engineering students with the necessary skills for handling various tools both in the laboratories and in the field during practical work.

In order to enhance the practical sessions for our students pursuing engineering, SEBE has commissioned technicians from the departments of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, Civil and Structural engineering, Electrical and Communication Engineering. The technicians are; Mr. Gideon Kitiyo, Mr. Daniel Mikwa, Mr. Caleb Kibet and Mr. Toili Moses.

These practical sessions will go on for the next eight weeks.
