MMUST’s School of Computing and Informatics Conducts Industrial Training for Second Year Students to Enhance Competency in Skills

Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology’s School of Computing and Informatics has officially begun Industrial Training for its second year students. The aim of the specialized training is to enhance the students' competency in Information Technology.

The Industrial Training which started in the year 2008, has also offered a platform for the Information & Communication Technology(ICT) students to be nurtured and mentored in key organizational values such as leadership, integrity & ethics and innovativeness which are necessary ingredients for success in the sector.

The purpose of the industrial training is to equip students with skills and expertise that can enable them tackle the rising developments and challenges in the ICT industry. The highly professional training has been organized by the Dean, School of Computing and Informatics, Dr. Daniel Otanga, the Chairpersons of Department, Mr. Charles Wabwile and Ms. Dorothy Rambim as well as the School’s technologists and lecturers. The training will go on for the next ten (10) weeks.
