Registrar Academics Office
The Academic Registrar is the chief coordinator of all matters pertaining to the academic organisation of the University: examinations, research, postgraduate studies and syllabuses.
The office of the Registrar Academics oversees the follwing functions;
- Academic Records Management: The office is responsible for maintaining and managing academic records, including transcripts, grades, and course registrations.
- Student Records Services:The office provides services related to student records, such as issuing transcripts, verifying enrollment, and assisting with academic standing inquiries.
- Academic Calendar: Managing and publishing the academic calendar, including important dates for registration, add/drop periods, and graduation.
- Degree Audits: Conducting degree audits to ensure students are meeting program requirements and are on track for graduation.
- Course Registration: Overseeing the course registration process, including managing class scheduling, resolving conflicts, and assisting students with registration-related issues.
- Graduation and Degree Conferral: Handling graduation-related matters, including verifying completion of degree requirements and conferring degrees.
- Academic Policies: Assisting in the development and implementation of academic policies related to grading, registration, and graduation requirements.
- Data Reporting: Gathering and reporting academic data for institutional planning, accreditation, and compliance purposes.
