Ms. Dorothy N. O. Kimeu, MBS, holds a master’s of Arts degree in International Studies from the University Of Nairobi (UON) and a bachelor’s degree in political Science (Government) from the same University. She holds several advanced certificates in Finance, Administration, Leadership, Management, Negotiations and International development from the University of Connecticut (UCONN) and Policy Research Institute of Japan among several other Institutions.
She brings to the Masinde Muliro University of Science & Technology (MMUST) a wealth of experience and knowledge in Public service management, Administration & Finance, International development, Financial negotiations, Project coordination, Leadership, Policy formulation, Governance and Coordination of Cross-cutting and emerging issues, acquired over a period of thirty-five (35) years as a civil servant who rose through the ranks from an Assistant Secretary/District Officer to Director of Administration across several Government Ministries.
She has also served in several Public Boards namely; National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA), Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST), Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC), African Institute of Capacity Development (AICAD), Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC), Maasai Mara University (MMara-U), and was chair at the Special Economic Zones Authority (SEZA).
Ms. Kimeu is a certified Trustee, a trained Theological Education by Extension (TEE) trainer and is the Vice-chair of Langata High School board of management (BOM). A member of Kenya Association of Public Administration and Management (KAPAM), Women fighting Aids in Kenya (WOFAK) and Mother’s Union of Kenya, St Augustine Madaraka Church Parish, All Saint’s Cathedral Diocese, Anglican Church of Kenya.
