Dr. Dishon Munuhe Wanjere is an accomplished Scholar specializing in Marketing, International Business and Strategic Management. With a robust academic background and extensive professional experience, he has made significant contributions to academia, research, and consultancy in his field.
Dr. Wanjere has an impressive academic and professional background. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Nairobi, Master of Business Administration from University of Nairobi, and a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Nairobi.
Dr. Wanjere is the current, Dean School of Business and Economics at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology. Peviously, he held the position of Director PSSP, Learning Centres and Campuses overseeing eight campuses of the University. His work has been pivotal in increasing revenues for the university, and he implemented policies to recognize and reward individuals contributing to revenue generation. Other notable achievement was the sustained growth of revenue from Privately Self-Sponsored students Program (PSSP) in a challenging environment.
In academia, he has published 28 journal articles in International Journals focusing on various management disciplines. He has also successfully supervised over 50 postgraduate students in their research and thesis work, in various areas related to management and business practices.
Further, he has undertaken significant consultancy and research projects for government ministries and private organizations, including strategic planning, customer and employee satisfaction surveys, work environment surveys, training needs assessments, and impact assessment surveys among others.
This combination of academic expertise, administrative experience, and research contributions underscores Dr. Wanjere's substantial impact in academia and management practices.
