Mr. John Arudo

Mr. Arudo is the Dean School of Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedical Sciences, Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology. He is a registered nurse/midwife and has over 13 years of experience in health studies and health research and competent in Study design, Quantitative data analysis and overall reporting. He is a holder of Master of Public Health and Disease Surveillance (Kenyatta University) and MSc in Clinical Epidemiology (Erasmus Medical University, Rotterdam). Mr. Arudo was formerly the Regional Research Coordinator, and Project Manager for Improving Nursing Education and Practice in East Africa (INEPEA – EU funded project) at Aga Khan University, East Africa. His extensive experiences include co-ordination of international programmes, design and implementation of research projects – CDC, Kisumu. He has been involved in both local and international consultancies, the most recent being African Organization for Standardization (ARSO) and Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) – Development of Standardization Strategic Plan for the Africa 4th Industrial Revolution (A4IR).
