Ms. Wanyonyi Khakasa Mable
Ms Wanyonyi Khakasa Mable is a lecturer in the department of Reproductive Health ,Midwifery and Child health. She holds a master of science in Nursing (Maternal and neonatal health –MNH) degree from Moi University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Nairobi. She is currently pursuing her PhD in public health at Masinde Muliro University of science and Technology. She has over 10 years of teaching experience in the university and related research. She is an expert in Management and care of normal, special and complicated cases in pregnancy during the antenatal, labour and postnatal periods. She has an expertise in Management and care of both normal and high risk neonates. She teaches undergraduate and postgraduate students in midwifery (both theory and clinical work), general nursing (medical-surgical, Principles and Practice of Nursing) and basic nursing sciences. She is involved in organizing of specialized workshops and short trainings, Curriculum review and development for nursing courses.
