Dr. Jacob O. Ong’ala

Dr. Ong’ala holds a doctorate degree in Applied statistics. He broadly uses mathematical and statistical methods to explore financial, ecological, biological and economic questions. Specifically, he is extensively involved in modelling disease dynamics in both plants and animals including humans, exploring financial markets and other time depended on problem using time series models, as well as Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. His research interests are stochastic modelling, longitudinal data analysis and data science.
