KINDIKI SARAH

Kindiki is pursuing a doctorate degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences specializing in Medical Microbiology (Bacteriology) and holds a Masters degree in Microbiology. Her areas of academic and research interest are in the fields of Antimicroial Resistant genes in Pseudomonas aeruginosa and antimicrobial stewardship. Her major scholarly contribution is her role in adding information on possible sites for mitigation to minimize risks of contracting hospital and community acquired P. aeruginosa infections and on guide to treatment regimens at the Kakamega County General, Teaching & Referral Hospital and appraise prevention measures and patient care in the clinical environment and prevent AMR transmission. She currently serves as a lecturer at the School.
