Prof. Owiti Dickson S. Ondiek
Professor Dickson Owiti a Professor of Mathematics Education at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology. He teaches undergraduate and graduate students in the School of
Education. His areas of academic interest and research are in the fields of Mathematics Teaching, Pedagogical practices of mathematics teachers, students’ attitudes toward mathematics, Teacher Education (TP), theory & practice as well as social issues affecting society. He holds a PhD in Mathematics Education from Moi University (2008) ‘DAAD Research study
scholarship at Institute of Mathematics, University of Potsdam-Germany (Oct 07/Mar 08)’, Masters of Mathematics Education from Moi University (2001), Bachelors Degree in
Mathematics and Geography from Moi University (1993). He has supervised 2 PhDs and 8 Masters.
