Dr. Wekullo Caroline Sabina

Wekullo Caroline Sabina  is a Research Scientist and Lecturer in the Department of Educational Planning and Management at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, Kenya.

Dr. Wekullo C.S earned her Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration, Leadership and Policy from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas U.S.A. She holds a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) in Economics of Education from Moi University in Eldoret.

Notably, she attended the Leadership and International Affairs Program which is offered by The Bush School of Government and Public Services under Texas A&M University undergraduate and graduate college. Dr.Wekullo obtained professional certification in Advanced Research Methods; Project Monitoring and Evaluation as well as Leadership in Research and Research Grant Management. Her extensive research focuses on Educational Policy analysis, comparative education and financial issues that influence the operation of higher education institutions. Additionally, her research interests  pivot around student access, equity, retention, engagement, and completion/achievement, faculty performance and productivity, global aspects of investment in human capital development, organizational learning and e-learning, as well as wellness and health in institutions of learning. Dr. Wekullo is an editorial board member, copy editor, series editor, and reviewer of several top-tier journals in her field. She has published 20 peer-reviewed journal articles, 1 book, 7 book chapters, and made over 30 presentations regionally, nationally and internationally. Dr. Wekullo has written and won several university-wide, national and international grants. She has received numerous accolades in recognition of her scholarship including the 2017-2018 College of Education and Human Development Strategic Research Award, Distinguished International Scholar Award and Excellence in Peer Review Award in 2020.
