Mr. Sylvetser Makhulo

Mr. Sylvester Makhulo is a Lecturer and Graduate Studies Coordinator in the Department of Geography.He is also a member of the research committee in the School of Arts and Social Sciences at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology. Mr.Makhulo supervises and mentors graduate students on matters of concept papers, proposal writing, field research and theses defences. He has held other responsibilities both at department and at university level.He holds a Masters Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the School of the Built Environment (formerly the School of Architecture, Design and Development) of the University of Nairobi (1987) and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Geography from the Faculty of Arts, the University of Nairobi in 1985 (First Class Hons).His area of academic and research interests are in the fields of Urban and Environmental Studies.
