Mr. Geofrey Ouma Maloba
Geofrey Ouma Maloba is currently an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Medical Biochemistry in the School of Medicine (SOM). He is also a Doctoral candidate in Medical Biochemistry.
He holds a Master of Science in Medical Biotechnology and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. Maloba’s academic interests include Cancer biology research, Cell cultures, cancer epigenetics, and cancer chemotherapeutic studies, including but not limited to breast cancer chemotherapeutic signaling mechanisms. He is a researcher with keen interest in immunology and microbiology. His current research theme is “Elucidation of novel molecular mechanisms in resistant breast cancer chemotherapy”.
