Dr Sammy Kimoloi

Dr Sammy Kimoloi holds a Doctorate degree in Molecular Medicine from University of Cologne Germany, MSc Clinical Pharmacology, Glasgow University UK, and BSc Biomedical sciences (Pharmacology and Physiology), Maseno, Kenya. His areas of academic and research interest are in the fields of mitochondrial medicine, molecular epidemiology and mechanisms of drug resistance (C.difficille and C auris) as well as novel drug discovery and development. His major scholarly contribution so far is elucidation of the role of mtDNA deletions in the pathogenesis of Sarcopenia and mitochondrial myopathy.

Some of his key published works include: -
