Dr. Fridah Njeru
Dr. Fridah Njeru holds a PHD in Peace and Conflict Studies from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST), a Master of Arts degree in Sociology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work from the University of Nairobi (UON). She has over 15 years of experience in teaching at the University. She serves as the Departmental Graduate Studies Committee (DGSC) ,Chair at the department of Criminology and Social Work and is the Patron of Social Work Students Association. She is also a member of the African Women in Science and Engineering (AWSE)- MMUST Chapter. Her areas of research interests include; family and adolescence Studies, Gender Integration, Social Psychology and Social Conflict.Her major areas of teaching are in Sociological and Social Work Theory, , Methods of Social Work Practice, Gender Issues, Rural and Urban Studies, Family, Child and adolescent studies.
