Dr. Wilberforce Cholo holds a Doctorate degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics. His areas of academic and research interest are in the fields of Injury Epidemiology and Statistics, Global health, data analytics, Community health and emergency medicine. He possesses skills in disease mapping, surveillance, design of experiments and other epidemiological studies, data analysis using various tools, and supporting project research and development. He excels in translating policy into public health practice and identifying effective epidemiological measures to address public health problems. His major scholarly contribution was in determining the burden and cost of motorcycle injuries presenting in Tier III hospitals in Kisumu City. He currently serves as the Examination and Timetabling Coordinator in the Department. He holds various certificates, diplomas, and courses in Global Health, Community Health, Emergency Care, HIV and AIDS Management, Theology, Data Management, and Data Science.
