Mr. Eliphalet O. Otunga

Eliphalet Otunga, a Senior Medical Laboratory Technologist in the department of Medical Laboratory Sciences is pursuing a master degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences specializing in Clinical Chemistry and holds a degree in Medical Laboratory Science. He has a robust knowledge in ISO 15189 and ISO19011 Implementation, GCP, GCLP and Biosafety / Biosecurity protocols. His area of interest revolves around biochemical pathology, biosafety and biosecurity, Healthcare waste management system and biochemistry. His major scholarly contribution is the research work he’s doing on Inflammatory and hepatic biomarkers in HCV infected injection substance users in Mombasa County.
