Welcome to the Directorate of Strategic and Institutional Planning.

Our duties include the following:

• Develop and facilitate mechanisms to support senior leadership, Deans, Directors and Heads of Sections in strategic planning of projects
  
  
• Isolate activities for each year in the university strategic plan and task implementations to develop annual plans and implement them.
  
  
• Direct and manage MMUST strategic planning functions such as developing and recommending projects, budgets and long range plans to Deputy Vice Chancellor, Planning Research and Innovations.( PRI)     
  
  
• In consultation with other divisions, develop and manage the process for providing data, support for policy formulation and planning, and oversee the design and management of special research projects and initiatives.
  
  
• Develop and implement planning measurement standards and operational indicators and provide regular reports on status of strategic development projects of strategic initiatives.
  
  
• Conduct regular and ongoing environmental scan updates, analyze and interpret a variety of information, identify trends and make recommendations for strategic repositioning of the university.
