Mr. Robinson Oduma
Mr. Robinson Oduma is a Lecturer in the Department of Language and Literature Education, School of Arts and Social Sciences at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology. He teaches undergraduate courses including Functional Varieties of English, Practical English Stylistics, Syntax courses, Semantics and pragmatics courses, Sociolinguistics and at postgraduate level, the courses include Language Planning and Policy, ICT integration in language teaching, Discourse Studies, Text Analysis, general linguistics, Language and Communication. Mr.Oduma is currently involved in research on ‘Union-management Partnership in the Efficient Operation of University: A Case of Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology.He is the former Chairman of UASU-MMUST Chapter.
His areas of academic and research interest are in the fields of communication, language and linguistics.Mr.Oduma holds a Master of Philosophy in Linguistics from Moi University (2006), Bachelor of Education from Moi University (2001) and Primary Teachers Certificate from Asumbi Teachers Training (1991).He is currently pursuing a PhD in Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology.
