Dr.Patricia Kariaga holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Disaster Management and Sustainable Development from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST), Master of Arts in Social Work with a specialization in Industrial Social Work from University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa and a
Bachelor of Social Work Honors from the University of Zimbabwe in Harare, Zimbabwe.Dr.Patricia Kariaga is a Lecturer in the Department of Criminology and Social Work and participates in supervision of research projects at all levels including undergraduate and graduate students.
She has published in refereed journals, books and book chapters for knowledge dissemination and participated in seminars, conferences, workshops in order to create knowledge.Additionally, Dr.Kariaga has developed research and innovation grant proposals regularly for funding in order to create new knowledge,acquire equipment and influence policies.
