Dr Consolata Ngala

Dr Consolata Ngala is  a Senior Lecturer in the School of Business and Economics at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology(MMUST), with 20 years of teaching experience at the university level in the discipline of Economics and Development Studies.She holds a PhD in Sustainable  Development from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology and a second PHD in Economics at Nelson Mandela University,South Africa.Dr Ngala also holds a Bachelor of Economics from Catholic University of Eastern Africa and a  Master of Economics at University of Nairobi.

Dr. Ngala served as the founding chairperson of the Department of Economics for five(5) years from January 2013 to October 2018 and took on a new role as Associate Director at the Directorate of Post Graduate Studies at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) for a period of six years from 2018. She is an avid researcher, Manager, Trainer, Mentor and Higher Education Curriculum Developer , having participated in the DIES National Multiplication Training on “Enhancing Change Project Management for Economic Sustainability in Higher Institutions in Kenya” in 2019.

She also participated in Tuning Africa Programme from 2015 to 2018, which was sponsored by European Union and aimed at Implementation of the Harmonization Strategies in African Higher Education to enhance credit transfer and student mobility.
