CALL FOR APPLICATIONS COHORT XI IS OPEN- PRESIDENTIAL DIGITAL TALENT PROGRAMME

The ICT Authority invites qualified recent university graduates to apply for the Presidential Digital Talent Program (PDTP) Cohort XI intake. The application deadline for PDTP Cohort XI (2026/2027) is September 7, 2026, at midnight.

Programme Objective

To develop and prepare young ICT graduates to take up employment opportunities in the ICT and other sectors by gaining workplace experience, mentorship, and building professional networks.

Focus Areas: Network & Digital Infrastructure, Software Development & AI, Information Security, Data Analytics, and Multimedia (Graphic Design) & Digital Marketing.

Eligibility Requirements

·         Graduated and attained First Class or Second Class Honours – Upper Division (or equivalent) from a recognized institution in the last two years (from Jan 2024).

·         If waiting graduation (till Dec 2026), provide a recommendation/reference letter from the University signed & stamped by the university indicating First or Upper Second-Class Honors to be awarded.

·         Recent graduates in BSc. ICT or Engineering (Electrical & Electronics, Telecommunication, Systems/Software, Security). Must demonstrate technical competencies in core areas prior to interview.

·         MUST be a Kenyan youth (21-29 yrs) & unemployed.

·         MUST NOT have previously undertaken a Government of Kenya internship program.

·         Deployment & Diversity Encouraged

·         Ready to be deployed full-time (8:00AM – 5:00PM) in any MCDA across 47 counties.
