Academic Affairs Section
Welcome to the Academic Affairs section of the Division of Academics and Student Affairs. Academic Affairs are managed by the Registrar Academic Affairs who works under the guidance of the Deputy-Vice Chancellor Academic and Student Affairs. The office of Registrar academic Affairs is responsible for implementation of all academic policies, regulatory and statutory requirements. The office is in charge of all administrative and management processes of the academic processes.
The office coordinates the admission of all students at the university, keeps records of all the students admitted for the entire academic period and beyond. The office is also responsible for the implementation of all academic programmes of teaching, learning and examination. In liaison with academic Departments and Schools it prepares and implements all regulations governing academic processes and it is the custodian of the academic rules and regulations, practices and norms. The office keeps custody of all students’ academic records, transcripts and certificates.
The office of Registrar Academic Affairs provides secretarial services to the Senate, Senate sub-committees, Deans Committee, Sub-committees of the Deans Committee, Curriculum Committee among others.
