Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) is committed to producing holistic graduates who are prepared for the job market and engagement in entrepreneurial activities. In pursuit of this endevour, the Office of Career Services (OCS) seeks to offer tailored career, employability and entrepreneurial support to MMUST’s students, alumni and the community in line with the “National Policy Framework for Career Guidance in Kenya (2024)”, developed by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection through its State Department For Labour and Skills Development in conjunction with other stakeholders such as the State Department for Higher Education & Research and  Federation of Kenya Employers among others. This will enable the students to develop and improve their personal skills, talents, and experiences in order to align their personal goals to the attainment of career milestones.

The Office strives to support students' career development throughout their time at university through Career Education, exposure to career exploration, mentorship, career planning and pathing, conducting work preparedness workshops as well as undertaking internships and industrial attachments so as to enable them to get noticed, match their ambitions to the right job opportunities as well as navigate the changing world of work locally and internationally.
