RECLAIM MOBILITY CALL!
Resilience-building for Education and Climate Learning, Adaptation and Innovation in Mitigation (RECLAIM) hereby invites staff and students to apply for mobility opportunities under the Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme, funded by the European Union (EU). The mobility opportunities are available within the RECLAIM consortium members, which are Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology-Kenya; University of Ghana-Ghana; University of Buea-Cameroon; and University of Botswana-Botswana. The Call for applications was opened on 12th August, 2026, and will run until 26th September, 2026.
The RECLAIM project, running from 2026 to 2029, builds on micro-learning challenges using gamified and AI-adaptive tools to enhance climate education and digital competencies. It also establishes climate education centers, deploys mobile learning labs, knowledge sharing, policy dialogue and industry-policy collaboration. By doing so, it will support the modernization and harmonization of African Universities. This will foster cross-border academic recognition through micro-credentialing, and structured mobility pathways. The project contributes to the soft infrastructure foundations of the Global Gateway strategy by strengthening education systems, digital competencies, and climate-adaptive capacities within HEIs and surrounding communities.
It is worth noting that the project is coordinated by MMUST, with Università degli Studi di Torino-Italy serving as the EU technical partner.
