The Integrity Office is responsible for promoting and upholding high standards of integrity, accountability, and ethical conduct in all University operations. The Office ensures compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and institutional frameworks.
Mandate
The mandate of the Integrity Assurance Unit at MMUST is to develop and implement a comprehensive framework for the prevention, detection, and reporting of bribery and corruption across the university. The Unit serves as the central coordinating body that guides all stakeholders—management, faculty, staff, students, and external partners—in upholding ethical standards and institutional integrity.
The Integrity Assurance Unit is responsible for establishing and enforcing clear procedures for identifying and reporting suspected cases of bribery and corruption, as well as overseeing their investigation and resolution. It also plays a key role in promoting awareness, training, and education on anti-corruption practices. Through these functions, the Unit fosters a culture of transparency, accountability, and integrity throughout the university.
