
MMUST’s 11th Cohort of Talent Scholarship Trials 2025 Takes Off with the Aim to Support Talented Students
Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) commenced the 11th edition of its Talent Scholarship Trials aimed to identify and support talented young men and women students in Sports and Performing Arts. The beneficiaries of the trials, which began on 12th May 2025 at the University grounds and Approved School, will be offered partial tuition scholarships, enabling them to pursue academic studies while nurturing their talents. The week-long trials will end on 16th May 2025.

The MMUST Talent Scholarship Programme is a flagship initiative aimed at offering partial tuition scholarships to students with exceptional abilities in various talent areas. The trials consist of various games including Handball, Hockey, Volleyball, Soccer, Netball, Music/Performing Arts, Drama, basketball, athletics, Badminton and rugby. The participants are assessed based on their performance in these areas, with a focus on those who demonstrate excellence in their respective categories.

The Talent Scholarship Program has been instrumental in nurturing talents of students who have excelled both academically and professionally. It has positively influenced the University by attracting top talents, leading to significant achievements in its sporting activities.
