National Research Festival Officially Kicks Off!

Kenya National Research Festival 2025 officially kicked off today, 18th August 2025, at Egerton University, Njoro, Nakuru County. The theme of this year’s festival is “Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security.” MMUST team, led by the Vice Chancellor Prof. Solomon Shibairo participated and showcased MMUST products and highlighted NRF-funded research projects. Present during the official opening of the festival were; the Principal Secretary Cabinet Affairs Idris Dokota, the Principal Secretary for Science, Research and Innovation Prof. Shaukat Abdulrazak and the CEO of the National Research Fund Prof. Dickson Andala among other guests.
